Who should attend CONNECTIONS2010?
CONNECTIONS2010 will feature product specific training sessions and updates for Netsmart product lines including Avatar, CMHC/MIS, Methadone, Insight, Helper, RxConnect and RxLink. In addition, attendees can broaden their horizons with sessions of general interest like electronic medical record implementation, e-prescribing, and Netsmart University.

• The General Conference will feature sessions for a variety of Netsmart users, including IT managers and staff, A/R and billing staff, systems managers, medical records professionals and others.


• The Executive Symposium will feature strategically-oriented sessions focused on agency management and industry issues and trends. It is designed for CEOs, Executive Directors, COOs, CFOs, CIOs and others with management responsibility for their organization.


• Clinical Track- offered in conjunction with Netsmart University, for mental health counselors, addiction professionals, marriage and family therapists, nurses and other clinical professionals. Includes Continuing Education (CE) credit from a variety of organizations

What meals are provided?
CONNECTIONS2010 registration fee includes many meals throughout the conference.

• Monday evening poolside reception at the Sheraton Hotel and Marina
• Tuesday breakfast, lunch and breaks
• Wednesday breakfast, lunch, breaks and dinner at the gala event
• Thursday breakfast, break and lunch

Can I bring a spouse or guest?
Yes; there is a guest package available via the online registration system when you register for CONNECTIONS2010.

I need a receipt for reimbursement. Can I get my receipt?
When you register for the conference online, you will receive a confirmation e-mail as well as a receipt online that includes a summary of your charges.

What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations received by February 1, 2010 will be refunded 50 percent of the conference fee. No refunds will be given after February 1, 2010.

Can I transfer my registration to a co-worker if I have registered but cannot attend?
Yes, please send an e-mail to info@netsmartconnections.com with your confirmation number and the co-worker's name and contact information.

A special discounted room rate of $199/per night, plus tax at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina has been established for CONNECTIONS2010 attendees. Is there a Government Rate for hotel rooms?
Yes. There are a limited number of rooms available for Netsmart CONNECTIONS2010 at the current government rate. You will be required to show proof at check-in that you are employed by a government entity. Qualifying proof includes city, county, state or federal government ID/badge. City of San Diego Transient Occupancy Tax Exemption Policies apply. For questions, contact the hotel directly.

What additional benefits do I receive with the hotel room rate?
The conference general and government hotel rates includes free Internet access, free airport transportation and room rate extended to three days before and after the conference.

Is parking available at the Sheraton Hotel?
Yes. Self parking is $22 plus tax per night and valet parking is $28 plus tax per night.

How far is the San Diego International Airport from the Sheraton hotel?
The hotel is a half mile (approximately 7 minutes) from San Diego International Airport.

What are the directions from the San Diego International Airport to the Sheraton Hotel?
Follow the airport exit which becomes Harbor Island Drive.
Drive straight through the intersection to Harbor Island Drive.
The hotel is on the right hand side.

What transportation is available from the airport to the hotel?
Complimentary airport shuttle runs every 15 minutes from the airport between the hours of 5:30am and midnight. Outside of these hours, guests may request pickup from the hotel. The shuttle vans are red, white and blue.

Most major rental car companies have cars available at the airport.
